So you have e-mail and an AOL Instant Messenger screen name but you don't check your e-mail very often. So how would you know if people are coming to your site and whether or not they like it?
Simple. In Flash, make sure you have a button created that will be used for accessing AOL Instant Messenger. Then, in the Actions panel, input this code:
[u]Actionscript[/u] on (release) { getURL("aim:goim?screenname=FrontPageFanatic&message=Hi.+I+saw+your+Flash+portfolio.");
}
Keep in mind these things - on (release) is a mouse event handler. Therefore, it can only be applied to a button in Flash. If you try to apply the code to a certain frame, you'll get output errors
You can change the message in the code to whatever you want. Just be sure you don't delete the + characters in the message part of the code (they're used for spaces in the message)
