When making a selection inside your Photoshop document, you may notice that you have 3 lasso tools at your disposal. How does each one work? This thread will provide a breakdown of each tool.
Regular Lasso and Polygonal Lasso: These two lasso tools are pretty much the same in how they work. To define a fastening point, you must click the left mouse button each time. For the most part, this method is very tedious. However, it's the most accurate way of making any selection (especially if you have to navigate around tight corners
Magnetic Lasso: This tool is a bit easier to use because all you have to do is move the mouse around the part of the image you want selected. However, you need to be VERY precise in your movements. I would not recommend the Magnetic Lasso tool for situations where you are dealing with tight corners because oftentimes, you won't be able to get the fastening points right.
